LIMITED PLACES FOR 2025-26
Qaida, Tajweed and Khatm classes for students aged 7-16. We split students into small groups, by ability, not age, and all students are set homework and targets, for each term.
We are able to offer the demands for Early Reading with correct recitation rules (Tajwid). Your child will be taught by experiences staff who will help your child with the help required to progress and reach their goals in Qur’anic studies.
Alongside recitation we also encourage the child to also become engaged in understanding the message of the Qur’an through different methods of learning.
If the child is new to Arabic and the Qur’an, we start them with the beginners guide which can take from six months to a year depending of the child’s capability which helps the child with learning basic rules of recitation (tajwid) and basic Arabic for non Arabic speaking children. After the completion of this, the child will progress unto the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and also begin the next stage of their learning which is memorization of Qur’anic Sur’ahs (Chapters) and their meanings in English.
Once a student has gained the appropriate level of confidence and accuracy in their reading, they graduate to our Khatm class. Here progression is individual and students are expected to practice daily to perfect their recitation. Students are taught the rules of Tajweed at greater depth and work towards gaining ijazah, insha’Allah.
